Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans and the Gulf Coast like no other storm in our nation's history. Millions have been displaced and impacted. But through the inspiration of a loving teacher, Dawn Abraham, working with Al Aether, Louisiana’s Secretary of State, children for Baton Rouge inner-city Charter School came together to stitched a quilt to help victims of Katrina - A Quilt of Love.

Quilts have been used for a myriad of purposes and now our Quilt of Love will be auctioned to hopefully raise needed funds for the victims of Katrina. The Quilt will be auctioned on eBay to the highest bidder who can also receive a tax deduction for their donation.

Prints of the quilt with signatures by Presidents Bush and Clinton as well as other political dignitaries are inscribed on its borders.

Dan Abraham, singer-songwriter and brother of Dawn, was charged with creating a song for the quilt and the experience.
His product - Quilt of Love - is a jubilant celebration of the eternal spirit and optimism in children. With about thirty elementary school kids from the Charter School who actually stitched patches for the quilt , Dan recorded the Quilt of Love CD and filmed the video. We know that you will find these not only entertaining but incredibly inspirational.

Every penny helps. So please help us help victims of Katrina by bidding on the Quilt or buying prints, CDs and videos. We appreciate you support and so do the hundreds of thousands of victims.

Mending Hearts……Touching Souls ….. Sewing HOPE

Through our QUILT of LOVE !
